Edition 7 of REVEAL (February 2012)
Welcome, finally, to the first edition of 2012. It almost seems too late in the year to wish everyone a 'Happy New Year'. Hopefully all of your Christmas services were well received and left you with enough energy to celebrate the arrival of Jesus with your family and friends. It's hard to believe that February is already here and the planning for Lent upon us. This edition of REVEAL has details of many services and events taking place across our 6 Churches, along with information about the planned Messy Church events at Bestwood Park Church and a message from Elizabeth Snowden.

Sunday 5th February - 6.30pm, Rise Park Church. Bestwood Churches United Service. Join together for worship, news from across the churches and prayer for our communities. Saturday 11th February - A fund raising coffee morning is to be held at the Community Centre on Rise Park for Framework.
Tuesday 21st February - 6.30pm. Rise Park Church. Pancake Party.
Tuesday 21st February - 7.30pm. Missional Church. Meeting for listeners and leadership team about Missional Church.
Wednesday 22nd February - 7.30pm. Ash Wednesday Service of Holy Communion - St Philips.
Thursday 23rd February, 4.30 - 6pm. Bestwood Park Church - Messy Church. The topic will be Abraham and Sarah. See more detail further on in REVEAL.
Sunday 26th February to Sunday 4th March - One Voice Global Poverty Prayer Movement 2012.
Around the world, Christians and churches will be praying with one voice, about things that disturb God: poverty, injustice, corruption, children dying for lack of food... join in this prayer.

Many thanks from Chris to all who attended the first meeting, in which we shared what is going on across our churches and started discussing how we can be more joined up and help each other.
